Baby If You Ready- Doggy's Angels

Snoop Dogg did his thing with his own girl group but he partnering himself with female emcees is nothing new (remember Lady of Rage?)

Released in 2000 on TVT Records, one of the largest indie record companies in the U.S., Cali female emcees Big Chan, Coniyac and Kola Loc made up the trio Doggy's Angels (no surprise who the group was influenced by, huh?).

From their debut album Pleezbaeevit, "Baby If You Ready" became a #1 hit on the R&B and Hip Hop charts.  The track was produced by G-Funk beat reformist DJ Battlecat and the video of course features the group's famous namesake as a LBC version of Charlie Townsen himself...

The group has long since disbanded but Big Chan has since embarked on a solo musick and fashion designing career.  Check out her myspace page.
